The Roaring Twenties. The very words conjure images of hot Jazz, rumbling Tin Lizzies, flamboyant gangsters, and hidden speakeasies. It was a time of contrasts, when the crusading morality of the Progressive Era banned alcohol even as old ways were giving way to new. Technology was changing lifestyles and reforming society itself. In short, it was the birth of our modern world.

It this heady time, when the thirst for entertainment became an increasingly vital part of life, two football teams would collide. They would forge a competition that would come to be called "The Glamor Game." Without natural rivalry of territory or alliegance they would face off to prove their mettle. Decades later the games are still played, champions are forged, and heroes made on a field of honor that is one hundred yards of grass and earth.
