The Rockne & Jones project encompasses two film ideas.

One is Rockne & Jones the Miniseries. This would be a multipart television event covering the period of 1920 to 1931. It would be a bit like HBO's Boardwalk Empire, following a story structure more like TNT's Into The West.

The other piece would be a documentary of the entire series between Notre Dame and USC, from 1925 to the present day.

ROCKNE & JONES

A multipart televsion series similar to ESPN's The Bronx is Burning and HBO's Rome or Boardwalk Empire. Multiple characters with mutiple storylines that interweave into a complex thread of action in the Roaring Twenties.

THE GLAMOR GAME (Working title)

An in-depth documentary of the football rivalry between Notre Dame and USC throughout succeeding generations, in time of war and peace, properity and want. A study of the games and how events on the field reflect the times in which they took place.
